Owner and Educator: Hongping Wei

I am a mother of three children and have been an early childhood educator for more than ten years. I obtained a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care in 2016 and was the recipient of the outstanding award. I am currently studying Master of Early Childhood at Macquarie University. 

I had been a journalist for eight years in China and moved to Australia in 2008 because I would like to have a big family rather than one child only. After my second child was born in 2010, I started my study of Certificate III in Children’s Services and opened my family day care in Pymble. I relocated my family day care to Lindfield in September 2015.  

I love to watch children growing and developing, assist them in reaching their full potential on their pace and share their achievements with their families. Also, I always strive to provide a welcoming, engaging, nurturing and bilingual (English & Chinese/Mandarin) learning environment for children and their families and seek opportunities to develop my professional skills and knowledge. 

With my knowledge and experiences across a wide range of contexts and cultures, I can proudly provide high-quality early childhood education and care for children and families.

Relief Educator

At Happy Feet Family Day Care, we have a diploma qualified relief educator Tiffany. She is studying a Bachelor of Early Childhood and works on the days that I am away for study, appointments, holidays and sick leave.
